The Psychology of Selves and Be Aware Ego
In his mid-20s, I started working with a methodology called voice dialogue. It's based around the idea of sub-personalities or selves and this idea that the psyche isn't singular is like multiple. And when I discovered this work, I was so fascinated because what I came to realize was that who I believed myself to be was a sum of parts of me that throughout my life had proven valuable in getting my needs met.
