Not Everyone Can Cook, but a Great Cook Could Come From Anywhere

I don't know if everyone's got something unique to contribute in special. I think we should lean more on making people feel comfortable with being normal and average, rather than trying to desperately hunt for the thing that they're spec in. Some will have a talent for being a great friend, and we shouldn't sneeze at that. It's all about relating to your experience in a way that is honest, but also gives you something to forward to.
