My grandfather was a master class in hebrew. He emigrated israel 19 forty six, but his hebrew was on a level that many native israelis couldn't understand. During the war, eight years in sweden, and he learnt swedish. We have this book that he wrote in swedish talk about the principles of toron and and judaism. And it's astonishing that he accomplished so much even though he was very methodical. You would ask him a question, he would never spit out an answer. He' always think about it and ruminate upon it and worke.
