Peculiarly he was a child prodigy. Could pick up any instrument and just know how to play it. Played the piano, the violin. He wrote poetry. Went to harvard when he was 16 years old with his all expenses paid scholarship based entirely unlike chemistry and math and all that. Was involved in world war too - doesn't want to talk about it. Has capacity to have this photographic memory. His interest became piqued in psycho pharmachology after getting an infection on his thumb which caused him to need morphine injections every couple hours. And so he basically was like, the action is not the fact that the thumb has this central side of pain, like intolerable
