Andrea Yilling is an assistant professor of Environmental soil chemistry at Oklahoma State University. She says she loves thinking about how plants and soil microbes interact with each other, but also trying to connect that to the real world. nitrogen in plants is the most important nutrient for health, plant growth, productivity; it can cause a lot of harm in ecosystems. And you know, nitrogen in its gaseous form is also a key greenhouse gas.
