Present simple is used to describe permanent situations. Present continuous describes temporary things, like what you're doing right now. And we use present continuous to talk about social trends and future plans. So which one is it Luke? Is it permanent or temporary? I'm just going to go with my gut feeling and say, I live in Paris at the moment.
