i wonder what broad themes emerge from those case studies. As an editor, is youre reading all these essays together for the first or second or probably fifteenth time? Sure. So in case after case, i mean, i should maybe give a brief over view of cases. The persecution of particular groups and attacks on their shared cultural identity and the heritage had and continued to have consequences for affected peoples that extend well beyond the immediate harm a culturogenicide affects group cohesion. It affects identity, memory and way of life. And the cases in the book illustrate the ways such ill ill treatment and attacks that threaten the very existence of a group as such.
