UBIs would give people more time to unionize or demand better labor laws. They wouldn't even have to compete for wages because the UBI would make everyone adequate wages at least. And, you know, you'd be like, I've got all these jobs that I could do and these jobs are all like desperate for workers. That's weird. Like a men's suit has changed less in the last 100 years that it's changing any hundred year period in history. So I don't know why that is. Or if you look at like, this link I posted about this, this guy wrote a book about the calling of society decadent. And what he means by decadent
