What Is an Activist?
A hacker is someone who goes out and they will break into a company. They believe there is a benefit in doing so, not for financial gain,. But generally speaking, so people can be more informed. I think eventually the the f t c er band one of the companies and its c o from ever making storka ware ever again - i would say that is a pretty clear case of activism. You know, it involved a crime, yes it involved breaking into people's computers, but they believe there was a public interest, a argument there.
