IQ at Age 11 vs GCSE Results at Age 16

People with higher IQ are more likely to have the kinds of lives which will lead to high status and we know that higher status is good for your health it also tends to go with longevity. When you look at age 11 IQ versus age 16 GCSE results  the correlation coefficient is 0.81 and that's with a sample of 13 000 kids 13,000 is a pretty big sample 0.81 is a very strong effect so a lotA lot of the reason people do well in GCSEs or not is down to their IQs It seems or at least their IQs when they're 11 years old nowObviously let's not forget that that's partly crystallized intelligence so that's
