Are You Going to Go to Hell?

Wilbur Ross: We don't want to get rid of religion. What we want to do with religion is we want religion to be a conveyor belt. When people are at a fundamentalist stage, let them be fundamentalist Christians or Muslims or so on. Let's have healthy fundamentalism. Yes, we can be capitalists and make a profit. But you know, there's a friend of mine in Brazil, Marcelo Cardoso, who wrote a paper called Meta Management. He said if capitalism is constrained, they have to look at those other outcomes, the environment and the social outcomes, as well as profit. That turns into generative capitalism.
