The Value of Status

I think everybody in society can have a sense of value in status because it's not, we're not just competing for money. So like I went out and did karaoke last night. It's possible Bert has a fairly middling job that he's not very excited about. But Bert has this thing in his life where he can shine and that he goes to karaoke three times a week and he is respected. Like we all have that capacity,. right? To find something that we take our own self-esteem from or be the best dungeon master or karaoke or whatever.
