The Viability of a Pramana

Jayarashi: Sense experience is one pramana, but there are others like inferences based on evidence. The skeptic will ask how any supposed pramana can be trusted if we do not first establish that it is reliable, Jayarashi says. If the means of knowing are established through other means of knowing, then there is an infinite regress, he argues.
