Is This a Vampire That Needs Blood?

The pacing of the film, i think, invites contemplation and also an enjoyment of the visuals. A lot of horror movies have very weakly earned love stories where, you know, ther characters fall in love with each other. You don't really see a lot of reason for them. But i wonder if that's not intentional, in this case, saying something about like, falling loving too easily.
