What Makes the Sun of Knowledge So Difficult?
translation is a step by step process, there's no short cuts to do it properly. You have to go word for word, and frequently several times over each word for word. One of the things that adds to the challenge is you really can't use the printed edition. So you can't rely on that as a source of material. And then once you get into the manuscripts, they don't all agree with each other. There are some parts where there is a good amount of agreement, but at some point they tend to diverge or drop things.
