The Inverresque Mithraium in Scotland

Part of a Mithraium was excavated at Inverresque in Scotland. It appears to have been constructed of timber, but led within it. They found two spectacular altars, one of the sun gods soul in victus with which Mithras is sometimes identified. Absolutely stunning find in recent times.
