Is Causation a Complex Emergent Phenomenon?
The concept of causation is emergent because some things are possible in the universe. But not all possible things happen in our universe, so cause actually comes after considering what's even possible. If you ignore physics and you ignore science, you get this stuff about causation or messed up. Reason is powerful, but it needs to be constrained by reality. We can reason our way to all sorts of fallacious misconceptions. For example, Euclid elements were reasoned into existence.
