I think like as in your marriage, it's easier because you have time to process things with small children. And then arriving in that place to ask yourself, like, what do I need? Like, what will help me at this time? What's beautiful about that too? Like allowing your spouse to tell you what they need is you now have a very concrete way to love them. So often I feel like I'm trying to do things for my wife and she's not receiving love. You're guessing. She appreciates it, but doesn't really care.
