Sally Kohn: What does the traditional publisher do that I should replicate or find a way to create the scaffolding for infrastructure for myself? She says one exceptional thing that traditional publishers do is they set deadlines. "Once the wire transfer hits your account and you sign a piece of paper, you get kind of scared if you don't deliver," she says. If you're not working with a traditional publisher, go on Upwork or like some other freelance site and find someone to pay to edit her book.
