Why Shopefy Is Better Than Kickstarter?

i made the decision to launch my store at the same time as launching my new non fiction book, how to write a novel. i felt uneasy about using kick starter, an unease i have felt since the early days of crowd funding. Although the model works well for many authors, it just doesn't suit me as a creator. I much prefer the long game and the evergreen availability of products underpinned by content marketing. And since i will continue to publish on the other stores, they can buy and borrow wherever they like, for whatever they like.
