The Quakers and the Magistrates
The authorities are very strongly against these Quakers, even though the authorities are crumling in a sense. These people are very dangerous. They have got actually very good legal advice and one of their techniques is as they travel around the country, they interrupt preaching. So they carry with them bits of legislation, they read out laws when they were in court houses being prosecuted. What did Cromwell himself do? I think Cromwell is very conflicted about the Quakers.
