The Role of Legacy in the Women's World Cup

Matilda's Twitter account put up a great video last night of the team being surprised by a visit from Kathy Freeman. There is this extra that extra added bit of legacy really, really does make a big difference, I feel. Ireland have to zigzag from Sydney to Perth and then back to Brisbane for their three games. Alongside flight to Perth, seven hours or something. It's weird because you're watching these players have become superstars in themselves, reduced to fans as well.
