The Wriggle Room in Mortgages
The larger the mortgage, the bigger the pound increase in repayments. Some of my first time buyers have now had a child as well which is impacting affordability on their remorgage. I've noticed now I'm having to use bonuses over time, whereas before, didn't necessarily need to do that. But now we're trying to squeeze every bit of income now. You need to think ahead.
