The Importance of Reading Novels
With novels, it's absolutely an exercise in empathy. Lots of the very good novels take a person that you don't think is like you and it makes you understand them. And I sort of love that now a book still has the power to polarise and make peopleThat uncomfortableness, the reason success and then backlash of American dirt, I found so interesting. Because I actually haven't read it, and I made a conscious choice not to read it,. But I have other friends, like there was a guy who runs a comedy club who messaged me going, I've just read this incredible book, I think you'd really like it.
