The World's Longest River

The nile river is four thousand one hundredand 32 miles long, which just edges out the amazon river in south america. Not only does the nile famously run through egypt, it also runs through or borders nine other frian countries. Ancient egyptians were one of the first civilizations to use irrigation to water their crops. And they used the nile to bring that water in. This was a huge step in farming and one of the reasons they were able to thrive.
