I think the reason to be in Afghanistan was to kill some of the exception of 9 11 and maybe we could have done that without taking over the whole country. I don't know, but it feels to me like just in general over the last 30 years, we've become hyper militaristic. And you can see that in just the number of lives lost, the failure of these wars and the enormous deficit we're running. The two things he got right, no wars. That guy knew how to talk to a dictator,. whether it was North Korea, China, Russia. He just knew how to bond with them. It was like a superpower for him. We have three directions to go.
