The Language of Denial

He believes that we have revolutions but there's linguistic continuity. We didn't come up with a new language to express the new consciousness, he says. That's why things like the Soviet Union went to crap rather than the fact that the ideas were bad. The domination contained in the language reasserted itself after the revolution. Maybe that's what he would say is why China, which he thinks is going great when he's writing this, is going to go bad because the Chinese language continues to go bad. Of course it will.
