The Word for Child in Germanic

This week's word could be child since the little blighters have come up in today's episode. The main thing that attracted me to talking about child is its plural form children. Child has no association with Germanic at all. Its route is rather more obscure and open to debate some thinks it goes back to old Scandinavian or an old Icelandic word for rounded tip or bald head. So there you go. As night follows day we come to the end of another podcast. Next one is 150 and you might think I should do something special to celebrate. But I'm not going to. I am in fact going to return to the land of my fathers otherwise known as the safe and comfortable political history
