Sasha Coppola: I kept wondering, well, where do you go with paycheck? Well nobody was saying anything. So then we met again at a meeting, uh, we had a meeting at 20th century Fox and the reason why we were there is because we were in the office of a screenwriter named Tom Rickman. Michael Apthead directed. They originally gone to Tom to see if he wanted to write the doors movie of which he declined. He just didn't want to get into that rat's nest, I guess, or whatever it was, hornet's nest.
