The Battle of Hamburg
In November 1941, Piers is addressing that 30 club. And saying that we haven't got any screw-fills at all and we are absolutely targeting people. In February 1942, a memo choosing a German city to burn down, put Hamburg at the top of the list with its vulnerability considered outstanding. So again, they're kind of working out that this is the way to kill the most Germans in Hamburg is to hit the working-class areas. It's always a working-class shut-on, isn't it? Yeah.
