The Nature of Meditation

meditation itself can be a hindrance if we have meaning attached to it. The whole point is that there is nothing that it's supposed to do, or mean. It's the exercise of just being with what is learning to be comfortable with discomfort. And when we can allow ourselves to start to see things the way that they are, then we become that much closer to being enlightened.
