Jane Austen's Regency Style Architecture
Jane Austen stories often deal with the difficulties of trying to find a husband or a wife in that period of time. The term regency can refer to various stretches of time, some are longer than the decade of the formal regency which lasted from 1811 to 1820. So we had a period of regency when the prince was in charge rather than the king. And it was a very beautiful time as well with these regency style architecture.
