The Labour Party's Opposition to Rent Controls
The Labour Party in England, at least, has lost their appetite for rent controls. Lisa Nandi, who's the shadow housing minister, confirmed that the party now opposes them. It seems like they've forged it through a little bit beyond the initial vote winner of rent controls. And actually, medium to long term, it would really punish renters.
