David Bentley Hart is calling us back to a real orthodoxy, perhaps just in time. Could you describe for us your sense of that real orthodoxy which existed when Christianity was an early movement and not yet the religion of any empire? Well, I'm not sure actually I go along with the association you're making there to be really honest with you. Empire is a complicated matter. And I'm not claiming that orthodoxy only existed at a very early stage and then was suddenly lost. It developed over a long period of time and in a way it's never stopped developing.
