The Politics of Emotions
The frustration, I think, that comes from both sides is this almost complete inability to communicate with each other. This total different language of what it is to be a political human being and how we might envision society. And yeah, I don't know if the progressive side is bringing the vision enough. We've got to return to the idea of something being stirring... right-wing populists have got these really big concepts like nation and and whereas we're uncomfortable often with those concepts.
