Is There a Difference Between TV and Movies?
I think that it's just really rare to see intimacy and sexuality depicted on screen in a way that feels human and interesting. There was this fantastic essay in Blood Knife about what you're talking about, the marvel of vacation of bodies. That's called everyone is beautiful and no one is horny. They essentially don't look human anymore. And they are so obviously the result of a denial of appetite.
