The Greatest Good of Man
I say again that daily to discourse about virtue and of those other things about which you hear me examining myself and others, is the greatest good of man. I think it does imply that it's a necessary activity, that unless you know what the good is, you can't be doing the good consistently. And if you don't do that, then i think it actually gets to your central point, which is, people who don'tdo that, it's not worth them living.
