The continuity of James Bond is not in the particular actors. It's in the signified double O seven. That's why they can have all these different variations. There is something benefited, of course, that James Bond, the film is a translation of the book. And when they lose the book as a reference, it kind of goes off the rails. But this is really cool because, you know, this here in lies Jezak's like interpretation of Christianity which at its most radical conceives the act of breaking itself as an instance of divine creativity.
