The Big Bang and the Inflation of the Universe
The big bang did not actually happen in one place, it happened everywhere. And the thing that explains the fact that we're not smack in the center is inflation. That has enabled things to stretch much, much further. If i look to the left and i can see 13 point something billion light years, if there are people, they would be completely unable to see the furthest point on my left. So that tells me that our ordinary universe stretches far, far beyond my own gaze.
