The Rise and Fall of Donna Summer
The next two Donna Summer LPs were both issued in 1976. Each featured extended-length tracks and actually did better on the album chart than they did on the radio. Tracks from both a Love Trilogy and Four Seasons of Love reached number one, cementing her status as Disco's emerging queen. Both of Summer's 1976 albums went gold within weeks of their release.
