How to Create Dominant Angles in a Closhes Guard

To have an effective clothes guard, a offensive clothes guard, you have to have hip movement and create these dominant angles. To be effective at the closes guard, you're better off trying to get beside them. You want to be in a position where you're 90 degrees to the side. If they can't look right at you, it makes it harder for them to establish their posture. And finally, the last mental model we talked about to day was inside position. It is always advantageous to take your opponent'slim and move it across their centre line. The best examples of that are probably arm drags and leg drags.
