The Importance of Being a Junior Olympic Champion
I grew up with Olympians and especially Olympic champions or medallists being from countries like New Zealand Australia which was far far far away never ever thought that a brick could do that. I remember one of my earliest trials on memories is watching the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and staying really really late to watch it. Alistair qualified for the world champs and the first time and then him coming back and having his team GB kit and put on the kitchen table made me think well I can do that as well. It got two big sport in memories it really helped my career and they're both not what I did.
