Is the South African Variant of the Vaccine Still Effective?

The South African variant does appear based on the literature to be the one that's worrying most public officials. All of the variants do have this effect where the vaccine in lab studies is not as effective, but there's a threshold within human bodies that seems to be the case that they are still effective. The timing itself is important and you can't just delay it for a couple of months and think it's going to be as effective.
