The Cognitive Revolution
Cognitive revolution enabled humans to transmit larger quantities of information about the world around us. This allowed them to plan and carry out complex actions like avoiding lions or hunting bison together. Another new ability was that they were able to transmit information about things that don't exist like tribal spirits, limited liability companies,. And some of the wider consequences of that meant that we were able to cooperate with very large numbers of strangers. It led to rapid innovation of social behavior.
