Offshore Carbon Storage

The Royal Society have published a policy briefing on offshore carbon storage wells. It details the viability of processes to permanently store carbon dioxide in deep saline aquifers and old offshore oil and gas sites. James Tickeau spoke with reports chair, Cambridge University's Andy Woods. He explains why we even need this if we're moving towards net-zero forms of energy generation like wind and solar.
