The Power of Promise
The last two chapters of Hosea are a plea for repentance and a promise. God says, I will heal their faithlessness, and I will love them freely. Assyria will come in and they will destroy the northern kingdom of Israel. And Hosea will see this, but he also knows this unending, unstoppable love of God.
