DTE has a low sharp strategy because of the fact that it's in drawdown like 80% of the time. If you can find a good signal that gives you some edge, then there is some alpha to be captured but it's really hard. I do think that there are a lot of opportunities based on like volatility in news to buy slightly out of the money debit spreads. In a increasing fall environment, just don't trade, says DTE founder and COO David Ehrlich.
