How to Handle a Tool
I watched my now 20 year old daughter grow up and sort of the first generation of Snapchat and Instagram and these social media platforms. In particular, Snapchat seemed to me exquisitely designed for cyberbullying. It's like holding a scalpel at the wrong end of the tool and we're hurting ourselves. I think it's especially true with teenagers and children. You would not put a electric drill in the hands of a two year old. But no, we give these kids these tools. And in some ways worse because the power tool they'll feel hurt by very directly. So there's to some have a wake up call that warns us that what everything is going on needs to be examined
