The Role of Sertuens in Aging

There are two models of aging in yeast. One depends on Sertu and the other one is opposed by Sertu. The number of times that a yeast mother cell can divide determines its lifespan. It's basically, if you imagine imagine that there's yeast growing in a flask,. So we're trying to make beer, wort, or wine. And then every time that single cell gives rise to what’s called a daughter cell, we're going to throw the daughter cell in the trash can.
