Her Land: A Satirical Utopian Science Fiction Novel
In 1915 Charlotte Perkins Gilman publishes a satirical utopian science fiction novel called Her Land. She also writes the crooks in 1911 and moving the mountain that same year as well. This piece I'm very excited to talk about. It's basically an alternate universe scenario and takes place in her present time. And it's about an all female society. A volcanic eruption blocks off the country's only point of egres killing most of the men, but those who remained murderous slaves were obliterated by an uprising of women. Eventually all the survivors, all female, discover that via pathinogenesis, which is asexual reproduction, that they could get pregnant and give birth to five girls each.
